The aim was to design a cultural festival identity inspired by a randomly assigned design movement [swiss style]. Swiss International Style is characterized by asymmetrical layout, sans-serif typography, and the use of a mathematical grid. It favors simplicity, legibility, and objectivity.
Zephyrus [the Greek god of the gentle west wind] is a Greece-based balloon festival that invites all to a weekend of food, music, and celebration. The brand identity connects the feeling of floating in open air with Swiss Style inspiration by employing yet challenging a grid system. The color palette embodies the delightful, colorful design of cultural hot air balloons.
